Midfielder Emmanuel Hayford says his Dreams FC team will strive to improve on their performance as the Ghana Premier League (GPL) season wore on.
The league debutants have made an impressive start to the season and sit third on the log with 14 points after six games, three behind the leaders Wa All Stars.
Last Sunday, Dreams FC beat defending Champions AshantiGold SC 1-0 in Obuasi to record their second away game of the season to put pressure on the Miners.
Emmanuel Hayford scored the only goal of the game late in the first half to secure the three points for his side, and, says they will build on this result as the season progresses.
“I am happy with my performance so far this season and wants to even do better for this football club,” the former Hearts of Oak player said.
Dreams FC he added, is on course to giving a good account this season and believes that with their current form, they could do well at the end of the season.
“The confidence in our side is high and we hope our form will see us through to the end of the season,” he added, insisting that they should not be taken for granted anymore.
Dreams FC will next play Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Dawu Park in their next GPL game after this weekend’s MTN FA Cup round of 32 games.
