George Ashie Fights South African On "Legendary Night"

George Ashie To Fight On ‘Legendary Night’George ‘the Tiger’ Ashie will be part of boxing history when he fights South African, Cid Ribero  on April 29 during the much publicised legendary night.

Ashie (25-4-1, 18 KO’s) will feature in a match packed night, when he faces ‘sworn enemy’ and South African Boxer, Cid Ribeiro (20-6, 16 KO’s) in a lightweight contest scheduled for 10 rounds.

Red Tiger will look to serve fans and boxing bout promoters a glimpse of not a full bouquet of what he’s made of in a night that will see Joseph King Kong Agbeko and Joshua “The Hitter” Clottey, two former world champions headlining the night with their opponents from Brazil and Philippines respectively.

The Legendary Night Boxing bill would also Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe make a mandatory defence of his WBA International lightweight title against Mzonke Fane from South Africa while world-title prospect George “Red Tiger” Ashie fights Cid Ribeiro from Brazil.

The bouts will be broadcast live by SuperSport on the DStv and GOtv networks to over 2.9 million viewers across Africa while tickets range between GHC 15 and GHC 150.
