Ghana Climbs Up In April"s FIFA Ranking (See Africa"s Top Ten)

The Black Stars of Ghana have moved up to 38th in the World and 3rd in Africa in the latex FIFA ranking released by FIFA in the month of April.


The results of the Black Stars matches over the past two weeks helped Ghana to move up.


Ghana previously occupied the 41st position in the world and Fourth on the continent in the global ranking.


A total of 171 games have been taken into account for the April edition of the FIFA rankings, which includes various international matches played over the duration.


Algeria maintained top spot on the African continent and 33rd in the world one ahead of Ivory Coast who are placed second in Africa.


Nigeria dropped to 67th after failing to qualify for next year’s African Nations Cup in Gabon.
