Klopp Apologetic After Draw With Dortmund

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has apologized for the role he played in Borussia Dortmund’s equalizer last night.

Belgian striker Divock Origi gave Liverpool a shock first-half lead at Signal Iduna Park but Mats Hummels hit back straight after the break when he easily shrugged off Adam Lallana and powered a header past Simon Mignolet from a corner.

Klopp blamed his set-piece tactics and said: “I decided to have Adam Lallana in this position instead of Divock Origi, sorry for this.

“We could have avoided the cross, of course, then Mats Hummels scored the goal but we were still in the game.”
