The interim assistant coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Godwin Ablordey says the the entire Kotoko fraternity os happy with the performance of the team against Dreams FC.
The Porcupine Warriors recorded their second successive league victory in the ongoing Ghana Premier League (GPL).
Dauda Mohammed opened opened scoring early on in the game, and they held on to secure all the needed points.
And Godwin Ablordey who took over the post-match press conference responsibilities praised the players for their output.
“This is our first away win and we are very happy about our performance. The players worked hard in the training grounds and did same in the game,” the CAF License A coach told the press.
“What we told them to do, they did exactly that and we have the maximum points. We thank the players and the supporters.”
Asante kot will host New Edubiase on Match Week 9 on Sunday, and Ablodey says attention will quickly turn to that game.
“We can’t get swollen headed. We will have to go back straight into preparation for the next game and forget about this one.” He stated.
