The Black Queens of Ghana will but complete their qualification to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Women Competition (AWC), later this afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Queens came from a goal down to beat Tunisia and thus keep alive their ambition of securing a ticket to the 10th edition of the Women’s Championship in Cameroon, later this year.
Coach Basigi praised his side after their hard fought win saying, “this speaks volumes about the character of the players. I have really respected the girls. Despite all the odds, they fought to the end of the game.”
Basigi who doubles as head coach of Ghana Premier league side, Sekondi Hasaacas will hope his team finish off the job later today.
