Sam Johnson"s Double Sends Djurgarden Top In Sweden

Ghanaian forward Sam Johnson powered Djurgarden to the top of the Allsvenkan League in Sweden with an explosive brace.

The 23 year old Liberian international opened the scoring for the league leaders before confirming their dominance with his second goal in a one sided 5-0 thumping of Falkenberg.

Djurgarden surged top of the two week old Swedish top flight after a hundred percent start to the campaign in the early stages.

Johnson, who endured a dreadful campaign last season with Djurgarden, shot his Allsvenkan side into a six minute lead before Ranegie doubled the lead seven minutes later from the spot.

Johnson however returned to score sheet with another pile driver 10 minutes into the second department of the game before Walker abd Colley completed the demolition exercise in an eventual 5-0 humiliation.

The impressive goal tally helped Djurgarden to replace IFK Goteburg at the top of the log with two clean sheets and seven goals to their credit.

The league leaders next head to Gefle over the weekends in search of their third straight win in the league.
