Tom Strand"s Attitude Is Not In Question - Medeama SC

Medeama SC has debunked media report the club has issues with head coach, Tom Strand in terms of his attitude and character.

The Swedish manager has been reported to have attitudinal problems and this has come under review in terms of his position as coach along with the mixed results the club has posted to the  2015/16 Ghana Premier League and their recent MTN FA cup exit to fellow premier league side, Liberty Professionals.

Deputy communication director of the Mauve-and-Yellow club Patrick Akoto, has denied some members of management have clashed with the coach in terms of his attitude.

He said, “I am not too sure about attitudinal problems as every human being and his way of handling issues and characters. Management has not had any reason to doubt his commitment to the club”.

“There was an incident between Tom and the technical director when we (Medeama SC) played Kotoko in Kumasi but that issue has been resolved and the pair have smoked the peace-pipe. We have no doubt to question his attitude at the moment but should anything happen we will address it,” he added.

Medeama SC will play an outstanding league game today (Wednesday) against Berekum Chelsea in the absence of Tom Strand who has taken ill but should return in time for their weekend league match at home.
