GN Bank DOL Week 4 Review: Mpuasoman, Roberto Record Impressive Wins

Fixtures for Match Week Four of the ongoing GN Bank Division One League were honoured across the country with some interesting results produced.


The biggest surprise of the midweek action saw Mpuasoman defeat Zone One giants Real Tamale United 2-1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium.


Wa Rockets continued their impressive home record with a 2-1 win against Unity FC with FC Tanga beating Tano Bofoakwa at the Bolga Park.


Berekum Arsenal will take on Guan at the Golden City Park on Thursday.


In Zone Two, Joseph Akuwuah’s brace ensured that Elmina Sharks maintained their unbeaten start to the season after seeing off leaders Wassaman at the Nduom Sports Complex in Elmina.


Cape Coast based Vernomous Vipers fought hard to beat Karela FC 1-0 with newly promoted Nzema Kotoko losing yet at home to Gold Stars.


Nzema Kotoko are yet to record a single point in the ongoing campaign.


In Zone Three, Tema Youth lost 2-1 at home to Danbort FC at the Tema Sport Stadium with King Faisal going past Starke with a similar score line at Ejisu.


At the Sogakope WAFA Arena, Newly promoted Roberto FC thrashed Istanbul by 3 goals to nil while fellow newly promoted side, Okyeman Planners saw off Nania FC by 2 goals to nil at Old Tafo.
