Former Ghana Premier League (GPL) best defender, Abeiku Ainooson will return to parent club Asante Kotoko after his loan deal was terminated in Sudan.
Abeiku Ainooson joined Sudanese side Al Hilal during the last transfer window last year, but the club cut short their relationship.
He has since return to Ghana and will soon join Kotoko.
“I have a contract with Kotoko which runs till the end of the season. I have stated on several platforms that I will never leave Kotoko as a free agent,” he told West Gold Radio in Takoradi.
“I believe the club made me who I am today so they have to earn something out of my departure,” he said.
Abeiku Ainooson also revealed that the money Kotoko got before he moved to Al Hilal was used to sign players and he is proud.
“My loan deal brought a good amount to the club, and that was used to acquired players during the off season. And I feel proud about it,” he said.
