After eliminating Premier League clubs from the MTN FA Cup over the weekend, Samatex, Deportivo and Elmina Sharks will all return to league action in midweek as the race for promotion to Ghana’s top tier continues in Zone Two.


Struggling Starke FC will host qualification hopefuls Wassaman United at the Dunkwa Park on Wednesday with Karela FC playing second placed Gold Stars.


With Elmina Sharks not playing until Thursday, Gold Stars will be hoping to go top of the table at least for 24 hours.


Asokwa Deportivo will hope to be the first team to beat Elmina Sharks when the two sides meet at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday.







Both Sharks and Deportivo are through to the MTN FA Cup Round of 16 after eliminating Dwarfs and Ashgold respectively.


Elsewhere in Zone Two, ELEVEN Wise plays Nzema Kotoko at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi where as Corners play as host to Venomous  Vipers in Kumasi.


Samartex after causing causing arguably the biggest upset in the MTN FA Cup by dumping Hearts of Oak,will return to the Samraboi Park to play Proud United.


The other games in the Zone will Tarkwa United and Dunkwa United coming up against King Faisal and Achiken FC respectively.
