HB Torshavan Ghanaian forward Albert Adu is confident of getting a national call up in the immediate future after an impressive start to the 2016 season.
The 23 year old talented Ghanaian, powered his Armemia top flight campaign to the top of the division in the opening three matches of the season.
The ambidextrous forward however seems to have set his sight on getting a maiden call up to the Black Stars as he continues to hijack headlines in the Armenia top flight.
The Ghanaian attacker, who is chasing the club’s player of the month in the opening embers of the season, rallied the handlers of the national team to zoom their selection net wider in a bid to give opportunities to other unknown Ghanaian talents elsewhere.
“I am always confident of representing my national team at one stage in my career and it looks like this is the right time. I am sure this is my time and given the opportunity, Ghanaians will get to know what they were missing.
“The handlers of the Black Stars have been doing a great job but I still believe they can help us a lot with scouts sent across Europe and other parts of the world. As a Ghanaian footballer, it will be an unfinished business in my career if I don’t get that call up”, Adu told Sports crusader exclusively.
The left footed attacking sensation passed on a number of offers from across the planet for a chance to win that missing Armenia league trophy.
Compatriot Kofi Appiah confirmed the joint dream of replicating their club career at the national level given the platform.
“We are enjoying our best football at the moment and to be given a national call up would have been an achievement fully deserved. My versatility across the pitch gives me added advantage and I believe I can add more stability to the back four or further upfront like Kwadwo Asamoah for the past seasons. God’s time is the best and I am sure our time will come”, Kofi Appiah told sports crusader exclusively.
The duo have been splendid all season for the table topping HB Torshavan in Armenia.
