Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Obuasi Ashantigold has revealed that the club is using video footage of world class forwards, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez to train their strikers.
The ‘Aboakese’ club has been impotent in front of goal this season with just four goals scored from five league matches played.
And the poor run of results adding up to poor scoring form in front of goal has seen the defending champions chances of retaining the league title slashed but Yawson mentioned that head coach, Bashiru Hayford is investing time into helping the strikers find their scoring boots.
Speaking to Sportscrusader.com during the club’s training today, Kofi said, “the coach has been having extra training routines with the strikers as management and the technical team find a lasting solution to their impotency in front of goal.”
He added, “the coach recently after training sessions teach the strikers through watching of video footage of Suarez, Ronaldo and Messi on how they find their composure in front of goal and make goal scoring look easy”.
