Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Medeama SC, James Essilfie has said his side’s troubling start to the season will soon be a thing of the past.
The two-time FA Cup champions have struggled on the local front despite their relative success so far in the ongoing CAF Confederations campaign.
The Tarkwa based side was bundled out of the MTN FA Cup and has picked up just a single win in five league games so far.
Supporters of the club have registered their displeasure with the state of affairs at the club, with many attributing the current slump to the incompetence of their Swede Trainer Tom Strand.
But the club’s CEO’s, James Essilfie has called for patience, insisting the situation will improve.
“Obviously we’re not happy with our performance on the domestic front but we’ll get out of the woods soon,” he said in an interview.
“We are working around the clock to ensure we stem the tide. It has not been too impressive. We are concerned about our position on the league table but things will change.
“The fixture congestion has taken a bit of a toll on our players, but I am urging the fans to be patient. Everything will be fine.” he added
