Anglogold to Meet Supporters Over Fianoo"s Salary

Sportscrusader.com sources has revealed that Anglogold Ashanti, owners of Ghana Premier League side, Obuasi Ashantigold SC, is scheduled to meet supporters, after they served them with a petitioned in connection with Kudjoe Fianoo’s whooping salary.

Fianoo, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the club, has come under heavy criticism for the club’s poor league title defence with the Obuasi based club, lying in 10th place with 10 points from the nine games played so far and this the fans believe is a justification that he (Fianoo) does not deserve the huge sum of money he receives.

Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman-elect, Fianoo is believed to have submitted his resignation letter to his employers but he is yet to receive a reply as to that effect.

The source told Sportscrusader.com, “Anglogold Ashanti has contacted Kudjoe Fianoo and will meet him later this week to have discussion on the club’s poor form and on the fans proposed salary reduction request of the CEO’s salary.”
