This weekend’s action in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) features some interesting pairings as the competition heads into the 10th league game of the season.
Teams are queuing up to undo each other in the battle for places, and, the outcome of this weekend’s matches will cause a few changes on the table.
Top of the Match-Day 10 fixtures is the Accra game between the two most glamorous clubs in the country, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The game will be played at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra on Monday, 2 May with news coming from the camp of both sides’ indications that they are poised to go for the three points.
Hearts are second on the table with 18 points with Kotoko down in ninth, seven points behind their bitterest rivals on the Ghanaian scene.
Leaders Wa All Stars will trek to Tarkwa to face the might of Medeama SC in another top game to look up to with the game set to be played on Sunday at the T&A Park.
Liberty Professionals who are third, will be at home to eighth placed Aduana Stars at the Carl Reindorf Park, Dansoman in what should be a good game to savour.
Bechem United who are 11th will return to their home base to welcome the West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) who are fifth on the table.
Techiman City are sixth and their will trek to the harbour city to play the might of Inter Allies at the Tema Sports Stadium.
Ebusua Dwarfs will host defending champions AshantiGold SC at the Robert Mensah Park at Cape Coast.
