Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder, Eric Donkor has expressed disappointment at the 1-0 home defeat to New Edubiase.
The Porcupine Warriors lately appeared to have found their rhythm with 4 wins on the trot including FA Cup victories.
Playing at home after such an impressive form, the 23 times Ghana premier league champions were tipped to record for the first time this season back-to-back wins after the Dawu victory over Dreams FC.
But a first half goal from the Adansi boys from Edubiase meant Kotoko were not a finished product just yet and this Donkor who played a part in the game took to his twitter account to express his emotions at the lost.
“Disappointed but it’s football. I know fans are unhappy with us. Apologies. We live to fight another day. #Hopeoverfear.”
Kotoko next meet arch rivals, Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 2.
