Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), chairman elect, Kudjoe Fianoo has hinted that his first competition will be spread across the country.
It is believed that some members of the Association are maligned during GHALCA organised competitions.
And Mr Fianoo has promised to provide a solution to the issue by providing them programmes that will make them feel part of the Association.
“GHALCA’s next Presidents’ Cup on July 1, will be spread across the length and breadth of Ghana. On July 1, it is likely B.A United will play Tano Bofoakwa at the Coronation Park or Eleven Wise play Sekondi Hasaacas at Essipong Sports Stadium, It is likely we could have derbies involving Division One and Premier League clubs.
“It will not be out of place to see Asokwa Deportivo playing Kumasi Asante Kotoko. There are some lower division clubs who pull more crowds in their catchment area than matches involving premier league clubs. We are going to tap those resources to the benefit of the Association,” he said.
