Charles Taylor lashes Out At Kotoko Management

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Charles ‘the terror’ Taylor has probed further into the management decision of the Club to ask Coach David Duncan to step aside as head coach of the club.

Coach Duncan was asked by the club’s management to proceed on a temporarily leave after the team’s 0-1 defeat to Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League last Sunday.

The former Hearts of Oak trainer could be facing the sack as head coach of the side following management’s decision to mandate assistant coach Michael Osei as the stop-gap coach.

Taylor who had a successful spell with the Porcupine Warriors is unhappy with the decision by the Club.

“The management of the club (Kotoko) faulted in their decision. There is a contract between club and coach which ought to be adhered to,” Taylor told GhanaFans.com

”There is so much misunderstanding in the club especially between management and the board and that is affecting them on and off the field,” he added.

”It is unheard of for management to take such a decision without consulting the board of the club,” he lamented.

Michael Osei yesterday trained with the playing body at the Kumasi Sports Stadium and later at the club’s Adako Jachie training grounds.
