Head Coach of Berekum Chelsea, Solomon Odwo has expressed delight over the performance of his sides skipper Sadick Adams, in the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier league.
Adams joined the Brong Ahafo based side in the off season after stints with several European clubs and was handed the captaincy by trainer Solomon Odwo.
The former Black Satelite forward however did not disappoint as he has gone on to score four league goals in six appearances, including a brace against Asante Kotoko at the Golden City Park on Match Week four.
Speaking in an interview in the build up to this weekend’s home fixture against regional rivals Aduana Stars, Berekum Chelsea trainer Solomon Odwo was full of praise for his skipper stating that , the best of Sadick Adams is yet to be seen.
“I think you haven’t seen anything yet from Adams”, the Chelsea coach said.
“There is more to expect from him in our subsequent fixtures; he’s got all that it takes to be a good player. I believe the few matches he’s played this season is an evidence to what I’m saying.
“He’s a very calm player who takes the team on his shoulders, works indefatigably on the pitch for victory and I want to believe that he continues this way we will see the real Sadick Adams.
“He didn’t play last week and they way he has been training ahead of Sunday’s clash i want to admit that he is more than ready for our game on Sunday and will once again be on his prime form”. Odwo added.
Adams is currently the joint top scorer in the Ghana Premier League along with WAFA’s Samuel Tetteh and Liberty Professionals’ Latif Blessing and Chelsea will hope he comes to the party as they look to take their unbeaten run at home to 41 games.
