Experienced French trainer Christian Gourcuff has mutually ended his association with the Desert Foxes amidst media pressure.
The 60 year old much travelled tactician joined the Desert Foxes right after the 2014 FIFA and has since transformed the North Africans into one of the revered nations on the continent.
The former France international led Algeria to an unbeaten run in the 2015 AFCON qualification journey before leaving the tourney at the quarter final stages.
The ex Lorient Boss then confirmed his managerial class with another strong performance in the ongoing 2017 AFCON qualifiers that has seen the rampant Foxes pocketing 10 points from the opening four games the 10-4 aggregate win over Ethiopia.
It is unclear as to why the ace trainer parted ways with his North African paymasters but media unrest and a blind on home based talented has been heard from within the corridors of the Foxes.
The Hanvee born respected tactician could however remain in the continent with interests from a number of rivals on the continent.
