I Won"t Compete For Ghana Again- Juliana Arkoh

Young female weightlifter, Juliana Arkoh has revealed that, she won’t compete for Ghana again due to what she described as, maltreatment from the games governing body.


Arkoh, who has temporarily quit the sport to focus on her national service after graduating from the Accra Polytechnic says she will only return to the sports if a different country come for her services.


Speaking in an interview, the multiple medal winner opined that competing for Ghana is not worth it.


According to her, officials of the Ghana Weightlifting Federation are only interested in using Athletes to win laurels for the country and care less about their welfare.


Juliana Arkoh has competed and won laurels for Ghana in major competition including the All African Games, Youth Olympic Qualifiers and the African Weightlifting championship.
