WAFA Want To Improve On Last Season’s Finish

West African Football Academy (WAFA) Skipper, Martin Antwi has reiterated that his side’s main aim in the season’s is to improve on their 12th place finish from last season.


The Sogakope based side have won all their three home matches in this season’s Ghana Premier League, but are yet to record a single point away from home.


Speaking in an interview with SportsCrusader.com on Wednesday, the highly rated midfielder admitted that his side needs to improve on their away performance this season.







According to him, the club’s main focus this season is to improve on their 12th place finish last season and to do that they need to start picking points away from home.


Although WAFA’s position last season wasn’t convincing, they were just three points away from the top and ahead of their home game against New Edubiase this weekend.


“These are the kind of games we shouldn’t let slip, if we are to realize our goals for the season. The Youngster further noted that, his side are preparing adequately to get maximum points against the Bekwai based club on Sunday.
