Kumasi Asante Kotoko injured goal keeper, Felix Annan, has revealed the support he’s receiving from the club’s fans is enough motivation as the road to recovery begins.
The former Black Satellites goalie injured his knee when he collided in a one-on-one situation with a WAFA forward during the sides opening game of the 2015/16 Ghana premier league season at Sogakope.
Annan spent last season on a successful loan with WAFA and was tipped to man the post for the Porcupine warriors after successful pre-season matches but the injury has now ruled him out for 2-months but the young goalkeeper during a Q&A session with the fans of the club via the official twitter handle of Kotoko admitted he’s taking comfort in the support flowing in from the fans.
He replied a tweet asking the psychological effect of the injury, “it’s disappointing but the support the club and the fans have shown has given me enough strength and motivation to work harder during this recovery stage.”
