FIFA presidential candidate, Tokyo Sexwale has withdrawn from the race for the head of the world football governing body.
The South African who who addressed congress at the headquarters of FIFA before the announcement of his withdrawal was the sole African involved in the race.
Sexwale’s withdrawal leaves UEFA secretary, Gianni Infantino, Jordanian FA President Ali Bin Hussein, Former FIFA General secretary Jerome Champagne and Sheikh Al-Khalifa as the four remaining candidates.
FIFA will for the first time in 18-years have a new head since the expulsion of Sepp Blatter by the Ethics committee of the federation.
