I"d High Hopes For The Season - Kotoko Goalie

Kumasi Asante Kotoko injured goal keeper, Felix Annan has revealed his hopes for the season has been dashed with the injury sustained in the first game of the season.

Annan, who rejoined his parents club after a successful loan spell with West African Football Academy (WAFA) during the 2014/15 Ghana premier league season was stretched off with a knee injury in Kotoko’s first game of the new season against his old side.

The young goalie had been tipped to keep the number one position he has enjoyed in the off-season but will now miss 2-months of football as he revealed to sportscrusader.com during a chat session with fans via Kotoko’s twitter page his hopes for the season have been tarnished.

He said, “it’s disappointing judging from the high hopes I had for the new season but the support the club and the fans have shown has given me enough strength and motivation to work harder during this recovery stage.”

Kotoko’s next game in the Ghana premier league against Ashgold has been postponed with the 2014/15 league champions commitment to their participation in the CAF Champions league.
