Dogbatse cleared to lead Volta RFA

Mr. Francis Dogbatse is set to take office as the Chairman of the Volta Region Football Association, following the decision of Mr Kennedy Gbloekpor of Robert FC of Sokpe, to discontinued the suit he filed at the High Court, Accra against the GFA and the Volta Region RFA Chairman elect.


The Plaintiff, Mr Kennedy Gbloekpor on December 14, 2015 filed at the Registry of the High Court a Notice of Discontinuance to end the case.


Mr Gbloekpor, informed the court that “please take notice that the Plaintiff has on this day discontinue this action wholly.


Thus, with the case Kennedy Gbloekpor vrs GFA and Francis Dogbatse now discontinued.


THis development has now paved way for the Volta Region FA Chairman to take office and assumed duties on the Executive Commitee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).


The GFA President, Kwasi Nyantakyi, is expected to swear him for a four year term.


The GFA was barred from swearing Dogbatse into office after the regional elections until the case is heard and determined.
