Francis Dogbatse will be sworn in to take his place on the Ghana FA’s Executive Committee this week.
This was after a court case brought against the Volta Regional FA chairman was dropped.
Dogbatse’s swearing in had been held up after a coalition of club officials filed a case against him in court.
But this case was eventually withdrawn, paving the way for Dogbatse’s swearing in.
“As far as I am concerned there is no case against me,” he told Sportscrusader.com.
“The swearing in should have been done today [Monday] but for some reasons it has been postponed but I am sure sometime this week, it will be done.”
Dogbatse was re-elected as chairman of the Volta Regional FA in October but was not part of the group that were officially sworn in as members of the new Executive Committee at the ordinary session of congress.
