Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan Wins Best Footballer Award

 

The much anticipated sports fans award gala came off at the best western premier hotel.

 

The event brought together sports men and women both present and old to grace the event. Sports fans were entreated to vote for their best sports personalities from the various shortlisted categories.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko Ahmed Adams beat Ashgold player, Eric Opoku, who was also in the category of best player in the Ghana premier league.He received the award from Ghana football association vice president, George Afriyie.

Ghana Black stars captain and Shanghai SIPG forward, Asamoah Gyan also won the best foreign Ghanaian player and Udinese midfielder, Agyemang Badu also won an award.

The late CK Gyamfi was also honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
