Ghana premier league defending champions, Obuasi Ashanti Gold and the club’s Assistant Coach have been invited to appear before the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA at 2pm on Friday, March 11, 2016 to answer to the charges levelled against them in respect of the Super Cup match.
The club and the Assistant Coach have been charged for the club’s failure to collect the medals and to attend the post match press conference after the Super Cup match against Medeama SC.
In their Statement of Defence, Ashanti Gold SC and the club’s Assistant Coach requested for personal hearing.
The ‘Aboakese’ lads are in premier league action on Saturday against, Berekum Chelsea at the Len Clay stadium after exiting the CAF champions league last weekend to Algerian club, MO Bejaia.
