A regional derby will be fought at Techiman on Sunday when homesters Techiman City hosts Aduana Stars in a match-day three fixture of the Ghana Premier League (GPL).
City have won one and lost the other of the two games they have played so far in this, their debut campaign in the GPL after earning qualification from the Division One League Zone One.
They beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0 in their first ever game in the Ghanaian top-flight a couple of weeks ago before losing 2-4 at Sekondi to Hasaacas in their last game.
Aduana Stars have flattered to deceive this so far this season having lost their opening two games away to Inter Allies and at home to All Stars.
In the process, their coach, Nurudeen Ahmed has resigned and the atmosphere in their camp is at low ebb meaning it could go against them if they fail to get things right before Sunday.
The home side knows they will have to win most of their home games if they are to survive the competition in their first attempt, and, with confidence low in the camp of their Brong Ahafo regional neighbours, they will be out to add to their misery.
