Herbert Addo Unhappy Despite Away Draw At Obuasi

Inter Allies head coach Herbert Addo was unhappy with the output his players despite securing a point in Obuasi.

The Tema-based club drew 1-1 with New Edubiase United at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium last weekend in a Match Week Four fixture of the Ghana Premier league.

But the veteran coach is sad his team looked too heavy in the game.

“I don’t know what happened today. My players looked heavy, they looked dull, they were not able to play, as I know they can,” Coach Addo said in a post-match interview.

“Although we got a draw, personally, I’m not very happy because the chances we created should have been put away but over elaboration by my forwards and the midfielders killed the game for us.

“We were prepared to fight, especially thirty minutes to the end, we were prepared to fight and maintain the status at it was.

“We played to a draw, we got one point but the three would have been better,” he said.

Inter Allies will host table toppers Accra Hearts of Oak in Match Week Five at the Tema sports Stadium on Sunday.
