Accra Hearts of Oak has rubbished media reports that head coach of the club, Kenichi Yatsuhashi collapsed earlier today.
There were media reports on Friday that the Japanese-American trainer collapsed during his usual routines, but Public Relations Officer (PRO) Kwame Larbi Opare Addo, on behalf of the club dispelled the reports.
He explained that Kenichi went to the hospital for a check up and not because he collapsed.
“Kenichi is okay, he went to see a doctor for an X-ray scan after some pains. I do not think there was any collapse; it was just about some pains he was experiencing, which is normal,” Mr Addo explained to Class FM.
Kenichi Yatsuhashi was not available for the club’s training on Friday morning ahead of their MTN FA Cup match against Wassaman on Saturday 26 March 2016.
The training session for the team was handled by assistant coach Yaw Preko and former Hearts of Oak player Joe Addo at the Ajax Park in Accra.
