Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has heaped praises on his players for their hard fought win over Inter Allies.

The Phobians came from 2 goals down to beat Inter Allies 3-2 at the Tema sports stadium on Sunday.

And elated Yatsuhashi praised the output of his players for a win against a difficult side who made things tough for them.

“We struggled in the first half, things didn’t go our way as we planned, and I have to give a lot of credit to our opponents. They are a very strong side and I think they deserve the credit,” the Japanese-American trainer told the press after the game.

“We changed some things in the second half and things were still not going our way, but the players made the impossible possible. It is their win, and not my win,” he said.

The 46-year-old lacked adjectives to describe his feelings after the game.

“There are no words to explain. We made some little tactical changes, but to very fair, either team could have won the game. I think we were lucky today, but to be lucky, we had to make a lot of effort and our players did very well,” he added.
