Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Mohammed Dauda has admitted the sole focus of the club is to reclaim the crown they lost to regional rivals, Obuasi Ashantigold in the 2014/15 Ghana premier league season.
Kotoko has started the 2015/16 premier league on a wrong foot after losing their first and only game played so far against West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) and this coach David Duncan is looking to correct in their next game at Baba Yara stadium against Medeama SC.
Striker, Dauda Mohammed who missed the opening match has been passed fit to feature in the next game and the young forward is raring to go as he revealed his target for the season is to lay hands on the premier league trophy in an interview with the club’s website.
He said, “to win the league. That is our first and topmost mission. There are other competitions on the football calendar like the FA Cup but we are not thinking about it now because it is yet to commence. The league is in progress and it remains our prime focus.”
