Mohammed Abubakari Wins Best Player Award

Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abubakari at the annual meeting BK Hacken Football Club was named as the best player for the year 2015.


Abubakari was presented with a Golden boot for emerging as the most outstanding player in the team last season.


The hardworking and skillful midfielder who captained the team in most of their matches last season, started his career from Doxa Dramas FC in Greece and subsequently  joined  Atvidaberg on a free transfer.


The 24-year-old  at an annual meeting of BK  Hacken FC said “I am very grateful and happy for this award . I want to thank God and my family and my teammates and coach”.


‘Momo’ as he is being nicknamed by his friends played 28 competitive matches and scored two goals for the Swedish Club.


Abubakari also emphasized how  the prize served as a reminder that he was going to work even harder and be even more focused in the future, so that the club can we win trophies going into the future.


He thus joins the likes of Simon Gustafson, Moestafa El Kabir, René Makondele, Pauliho and Mattias Östberg who have all won the award in the past.
