The two African football giants Egypt and Nigeria renew their rivalry as they battle for the top spot of group G, in the AFCON qualifiers.


The Seven-time African champions, Egypt are top of Group G, with six points from two matches, Nigeria are two points behind on four points with only the overall group winners guaranteed automatic passage to Gabon 2017.


Egypt, is currently the group leaders with 6 points and they will be hoping to win this clash and extend their lead on the table.


The second placed Nigeria parted ways with coach Sunday Oliseh and appointed Samson Siasia as the interim coach. They will want to come out victorious in this fixture to go top of the group leapfrogging the North African team.
