The president of Medeama Sporting Club, Moses Parker Armah is satisfied with the performance of his team despite suffering a 1-0 loss to Al Ittihad in their CAF Confederation Cup first leg in Tunis.
El Bulki first half strike from the spot was enough to give the Libyan side an advantage ahead of the of the second leg at the Essipong Sports Stadium on 20th March.
The Ghanaians displayed a solid performance which was acknowledged by the official Twitter handle of the Al Ittihad. The account tweeted that:

A fair result against @ MedeamaSC despite the missed chances. It will be a very difficult game in the return match.”
And club president Moses Armah, has hailed the players for their effort.
“We played well today and the boys deserve commendation,” Moses Parker is quoted by official website, medeamafmonline.com
“Everybody who saw the game will attest to the fact that we didn’t deserve to lose. The boys showed character and zeal and we look forward to the return encounter.
Moses Parker however warned that the result should not breed a room for complacency when they host the second leg of the competition.
“We cannot underestimate them in the return leg. They are a good side and we must be wary.
“But I am confident we can turn things around and qualify to the next stage of the competition.” He said.
Medeama host the reverse fixture at the Esspoing stadium in Sekondi on March 20.
