LA Galaxy’s Ghanaian import Emmanuel Boateng has been named in the Major League Soccer Team Of The Week.
The ex Helsinborg forward lighted the MLS with his season opening strikes and two other assist for LA Galaxy in a 5-2 thumping of Real Salt Lake over the weekends.
The in form attacker has made a slow start to life in for Major league soccer but blew hot at home to the hapless Lakes to book his place in the weekly assembled best performers of the league.
Emmanuel had to wait for five matches to get his opening strike since arriving from the Swedish Allsvenkan league in the winter transfer window.
The in form attacking sensation has been partnered by a trio of talented players in Micheal Bradley, Tranquilo Barneta and the experience Klejestern.
Club mate Sebastian Giovinco maintained his place in the TOTW just behind Junior Wright Philips.
