Head Coach of Ghana Premier League champions Ashanti Gold, Bahir Hayford, has stated that everything went wrong for his side in their defeat at Liberty on Sunday afternoon.
The Miners suffered a 5-1 thumping in the hands of the Dansoman based side on match day to record a first defeat of the 2015/2016 Campaign.
Ashgold failed to glitter on the day at a ground they haven’t lost a game in the past four seasons and after the game, trainer Bashir Hayford could not pinpoint a single positive from his side’s performance.
“Everything went wrong for us today”, Hayford told reporters.
“From the goalkeeping department to the strikers, from the beginning to the end. But that’s how football is.
”Once the same sets of players are going to play in the next game, you have to put it behind you and move on” he added.
The defeat send sees Ashgold 11th on the log with 7 points after six games while Liberty move to 4th on 10 points.
The Miners will hope to put the defeat behind them when they host newly promoted Dreams FC on Match Day Seven
