Inter Allies forward Ropapa Mensah has cited lack of concentration in the playing staff for their slow start to the season.
The talented forward admitted to the dreadful start by the Tema based side, but played any catastrophic implications at the latter stages of the campaign.
Herbert Addo’s youthful side have dropped valuable points from winning position on numerous occasions and their star forward was quick to cite the lack of concentration in the final embers of their league matches.
Ropapa Mensah, who has enjoyed a personal breakthrough season with the “Eleven is to One” allayed fears haboured by fans of the Tema based side, amidst relegation threats in the opening matches of the season.
The Ghana Youth international rallied his team mates to end their eleven match winless run over the weekends when Bechem United come visiting if they are to get over that fear factor.
“There is nothing wrong with Inter Allies for now.
We have always scored goals in almost evey game but our main problem is lack of concentration in the final stages of our matches.
Lack of concentration has cost us a number of wins and points and we have identified that as a group of players”, Ropapa Mensah told sports crusader.
The lanky forward then ruled out missing their departed colleagues who left at the start of the current campaign.
“We are not missing our departed colleagues because we have very good players in camp as at now.
We are more than hungry for the three points in our next league match and it will be seen when we take to the field.
“Every body is focused to get our season up and running”, Mensah concluded.
Inter Allies remains winless in the opening six fixtures of the 2016 campaign and are currently out of the relegation zone just by goal difference.
