Liberty Professionals midfielder, Gerald Arkson has expressed his disappointment after picking up a third yellow card of the season in during his side’s MTN FA Cup round of 32 tie against Pure Joy last Saturday
The yellow card means, the 18-year old midfielder will miss Wednesday’s Ghana Premier League encounter with Berekum Chelsea at the Carle Reindoff Park in Dansoman.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with SportsCrusader.com on Monday, the highly rated youngster said he feels sad not to be part of the first midweek action of the season.
Arkson’s suspension will come as a blow to Liberty Head coach George Lamptey, who will once again not have Daniel Kodie in midfield following his sending off against Asante Kotoko.
However, Tamimu Muntari’s versatility means he can play in the holding midfield role along side the hard working Edward Ebo Mends.
The Dansoman based side are yet to drop a single point at Ghettoyouth Dansoman Carle Reindoff Park this season. They beat Ashgold 5-1 the last time featured at their favourite ground.
