The Executive Chairman of newly Promoted Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC, Mr. Kurt E.S. Okraku is confident that his club has what it takes to maintain their premier league status at the end of the season.
The Dawu based club have failed to live up to the form which saw them qualify to Ghana’s top flight league after playing just a season in the second tier- the GN Bank National Division One League.
Dreams FC have struggled in Pre-season especially in front of goal as their strikers have difficulties converting the chances that come their way. But despite their relatively low converting rate in their Preparatory games, Executive Chairman, Mr. Kurt Okraku is adamant Dreams FC are strong enough to stay up.
“I have said it time and again that we are coming to the Premier League to compete and believe me we will be competitive in all games” , the GFA ExCo member told Happy FM in Accra.
He added that, “Given the quality and the entire composition of the Dreams FC project, I think we’ll be strong enough to stay in the league”.
Dreams FC lost their first Game at the newly refurbished Dawu Park against Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak in a friendly last Sunday.
Their first game of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season will be an away trip to the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium to face fellow newly promoted side Ebusua Dwarfs.
