With the Ghana Premier League set to kick off this weekend, SportsCrusader.com take a look at the players to watch out for from all the 16 participating clubs.
One of those players is Liberty Professionals midfielder Gerald Arkson, who is in his second season with the Dansoman based club.

Gerald Arkson was promoted to the Liberty Professionals first team at the beginning of last season following an impressive campaign with the reserve team in the 2013/14 league season.
The 18-year old went on to play all but one game for the Scientific Soccer lads’ Ghana Premier League campaign last season albeit in an unusual defensive midfield role.
Arkson is expected to be moved to be deployed in a more advanced role this season following the exit of Talismanic Kennedy Ashia, who left the Dansoman based club to Sudan during the off season.
Despite the presence of Latif Blessing in their ranks, Arkson is still the fans and players’s favorite in Dansoman.
He is popularly refered to as the ‘Maestro’ by the fans of the Dansoman based club.
