The Board and Management of Accra Hearts of Oak has said that they are the upcoming Ghana Premier league season will be a successful one.
The Phobians has not won any major silverware since the 2008 / 2009 premier league season.
But management is certain they have made all provisions necessary to be champions.
In a statement signed by Mr. Kwame Opari-Larbi, Communications Manager of the club said team’s pre-season preparations coupled with quality signings are signs that the Oak tree will come to life in the upcoming season.
“We can assure all supporters that the coming season would be a watershed year in which the Club would be put on the path to regaining its enviable position both locally and on the continent.
“However this mission just like anything in life would take some time to come to fruition. Consequently we would entreat all supporters to be patient and continue to rally behind the club.”the statement noted.
It continued that: “Every aspect of the club is being transformed to make it not only a model of ‘good football club’ but crucially a sustainably profitable entertainment business.
“As part of the efforts at transforming the club, we are pleased to announce to the public that Accra Hearts of Oak will admit children up to the age of 16 years free entry to all home matches beginning this Sunday against New Edubiase United at the Accra Sports Stadium.” It added.
