The God we serve is holy. In Him is found no deceit. We were purchased back unto Him through the sacrificial blood of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. And with ‘an holy calling’ He called us;
2 Timothy 1:9 (KJV)- “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.”
The art of holiness is not something one can attain with his or her strength. Your human abilities are limited beyond perfection. It takes the power of God in the person of the Holy Spirit to be able to live a holy life.
We live in such a pervasive world which when you’re not careful as a child of God your ways will be no different from them which of the world.
Holiness isn’t achieved by following laws. It comes only through the acceptance of the grace of God, that is, allowing the Spirit of God to help you.
