Black Maiden custodian Issahaku Barikisu is confident her side will record another heavy win over their Moroccan counterparts in the return leg of the World Cup qualifiers at home on Saturday.
The Ghanaians thumped their North African opponents on their own backyard by four unanswered goals ahead of Saturday’s mandatory home clash with the Young Lioness in Accra.
Shot stopper for the free scoring Black Maiden Issahaku Barikisu however called on the Ghanaian football family to troop to the Accra Sports stadium to cheer the team up for the return leg at home.
The goal keeper cum attacker rallied her team mates to eschew complacency and complete the job with another resounding victory on Saturday.
The 14 year old talented custodian urged the media to extend their good work on the local terrain with more reportage on ladies soccer as well.
“I am confident we can repeat our score line in Morocco on Saturday if not improving it. We are not undermining their strength as a group but we are simply preparing to complete the business in front of our supporters here in Ghana,” she stated.
