Chief Executive Officer Berlin FC and controversial football administrator, Takyi Arhin has accused the Ghana Football Association (GFA) of being responsible for the lackadaisical attitude Black Stars head coach, Avram Grant.
The former Chelsea boss has been out of the country for the past three months without the permission of his employers (GFA) but claims he’s monitoring Ghanaian players abroad meanwhile he has been a match day
pundit on Sky sports in the UK previewing and reviewing English premier league games.
The former Chairman of Sunyani based BA United, known for expressing his candid view has called on all Ghanaians to point fingers at the GFA for Avram Grant’s rude and unimportant attachment he has towards the Black Stars job.
“A parent who refuses to correct an insubordinate child will one day bare the wrath of the spoilt child and that is exactly what the GFA are currently experiencing with Avram Grant. The communications director of the GFA, Saani Darra has been defending the coach when the media question his where-about and today they turn to order him, he told Kumasi bossed, Boss FM.
“In this 21st century which coach travels to monitor players abroad when he can do it in the comfort of his chair so please the GFA can spare us those excuses. We (Ghanaians) appointed Grant as head coach of the senior national
team, pay him a whooping USD50,000, rent him a hotel, travel along with the wife on business class tickets and this why some of us have argued why his contract was not made public,” he added.
