The 2015/16 Ghana Premier League is so far a season of stunning goals, and one of those was scored on Match Week Five by Aduana Stars Bright Adjei.
The former Tema Youth striker, scored a breathe taking bicycle kick to draw his side level, and the Cable News Network (CNN) has nominated the goal for one of their goals of the week.
He is in contention with Barcelona forward Luis Suarez, Tom Rogic of Celtic, and Javier Cortes of Pumas.
Bright Adjei is elated he’s gained global recognition for the sumptuous finish. He revealed he learns a lot from Barcelona forward, Luis Suarez.
“I’m really excited for this nomination, it makes me feel that our hard work here is been monitored elsewhere so I’m really happy,” he said.
“This will encourage me to score more goals and as a striker that is exactly what you have to do,” he added.
“You realize Luiz Suarez scored a similar goal in the Champions league against Arsenal so I always learn from Suarez and I really want to do more,” he said.
