Oduro Sarfo Picks Up GHALCA Nomination Form

The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) organised competitions ticketing chairman, Nana Oduro Sarfo has picked up a nomination form for the chairmanship position.


GHALCA, the mother body of all football league clubs in Ghana, will go to the polls on April 21 to elect new executives for the Association.


Nana Oduro Sarfo has thrown his cap into the race for the top-most position in the Association.


The former Berekum Chelsea Chief Executive Officer, who has promised to change the Association from it’s current state to a ‘vibrant’ body picked his nomination form on Tuesday (March 16)


He will vie for the Chairmanship position with Cudjoe Fianoo, the Chief Executive Officer of AshantiGold, Isaac Koomson, incumbent Vice chairman of Association, Kofi Poku, a member GHALCA and CEO of King Solomon FC and Alhaji Raji, Chairman of the Association.


Alhaji Raji revealed his thirst to go for the position for the second time, but he is yet to pick his form.


The elections will be held on Thursday April 21, and candidates elected will be sworn into office on April 28.


Nomination form for all positions is GHc 100. 00 and the filing fee is GHc 500.00 for the Chairmanship position; GHc 400.00 for Vice Chairman and Treasurer with the rest of the positions going for GHc 300.00.
